In Western Hungary, about 20 km west of the town of Ajka, this predominantly flat hunting area extends over 5,700 hectares. It can be reached within one hour by car from the Austrian border crossing at Heiligenkreuz.
The only volcanic hill rising from the plain is Somló (Schomlau), which offers a beautiful panoramic view of the surrounding landscape.
In addition to red deer, roe deer and wild boar can also be hunted successfully. The hunting area offers an exciting opportunity for wild boar hunting: under favorable moonlight conditions, it is possible to harvest 2–3 animals during a single night stalk.
Accommodation is available in a charming hunting lodge located in the forest, right in the middle of the hunting area.
