Roe buck hunt in West - Hungary (Somló)

Size of the field: 5.700 ha
Field: free range
Accommodation: in hunters lodge
Located in western Hungary, about 20 km west of the town of Ajka, this predominantly flat hunting area covers 5,700 hectares and is approximately a one-hour drive from the Austrian border crossing at Heiligenkreuz. The only volcanic hill rising from the plain is Somló, from which there are beautiful views of the surrounding landscape.
In addition to red deer, both roe deer and wild boar can be hunted successfully. The roe buck population is also known for its good trophies; in April and May, several medium-sized bucks are harvested regularly. Roe deer hunting can be perfectly combined with wild boar and yearling red deer hunting. Accommodation is available in a charming hunting lodge hidden in the forest, located in the heart of the hunting area.
