This fenced area of Bárna-Vad Ltd lies on the Hungarian-Slovakian borders nearthe town of Salgótarján, at the foot of the Mátra Mountains. It is a typical hilly area and is largely covered in deciduous forest. The countryside is varied and dissected by valleys and ravines. A stream rising within the area ensures a permanent water supply.
Three Hungarian big game species live in this area, so that it is possible to huntred deer, fallow deer and mouflon. The origin of the red deer and the fallow deer is the region Dunántúl (Trans-Danubia), from the areas of Gemenc, Zala, Somogy and Tolna. Many of the trophies receive gold medals.
First-class hunting lodge right in the area! The hunting lodge has 8 rooms, a restaurant and an atmospheric wine cellar available to guests.
