Tusker and female deer hunting directly next to the Austrian border

 

Lajta-Hanság

The Lajta-Hanság hunting ground can be found in the north-western corner of Hungary close to the Austrian border, its size is ca. 25 000 ha.

On the small-game areas pheasant and hare driven group hunts are the most popular among domestic and foreign guests, but many are attracted by roe deer buck hunts as well.

The big game area is located in the Northern-Hanság landscape as a continuation of Lake Neusiedl’s basin. Red deer likes the hunting ground patched with peaty, swampy marshlands, however wild boar feels itself at home the most here. The thickets covered with reed and goldenrod oft en hide 8-9 years old tuskers. They can be bagged during both private and group hunts.

The hunting lodge found in the area awaits the hunting guests with four rooms and one suite. The house is located 7 kilometres away from Mosonmagyaróvár. It provides calm, undisturbed relaxation and its excellent kitchen makes all this unforgettable.
