The district is actually a flat area with small hills and wide sand dunes. Thanks to the biotope and many years of professional game management, there are excellent red deer herds with top trophies along the Danube in Dusnok (Lenes), Baja and Hercegszántó (Karapancsa) or in the surrounding area: Hajós, Homokmégy and Császártöltés. Deer antlers, which are typically have particularly thick staves and multi-pronged crowns, can achieve excellent weight and good scores. The peak of the previous successful series and thus the most famous trophy was the trophy brought down in Karapancsa in 1986, which with its 14.95 kg and 271 CIC points was the world record for deer for many years. Also worth mentioning is the trophy caught in Hajós in 2007, which weighed 14.53 kg and scored 261.21 CIC points. These two trophies are among the ten strongest deer antlers in the Hungarian rankings of all time, occupying the 1st and 7th places!
